How It Works

Start With the Gaps. Build What the Business Actually Needs.

D.O.G. Marketing Systems starts by understanding the business, where opportunities may be getting lost, and which systems could realistically improve the customer journey — before recommending anything.

The Process

A Practical Process From Audit to Implementation

No rigid templates. D.O.G. follows a straightforward path from understanding your business to building and launching the system that actually fits.

  1. 01

Start With the Free Business Audit

You tell D.O.G. about your business, your current systems, and where you believe opportunities may be getting lost. The audit is a conversation about your business — not an automated score or an instant report. Tim Drake reviews your information and personally follows up with you.

  2. 02

    Identify the Gaps

D.O.G. looks at the parts of the customer journey relevant to your business — which may include your website experience, local visibility, incoming calls, missed calls, lead response, follow-up, and review generation or reputation. The goal is to determine where the actual gaps are.

  3. 03

    Recommend What Actually Fits

Recommendations are based on your business's actual needs, not a predetermined package. Depending on what the audit surfaces, that may include a website, review automation, an AI receptionist, missed-call text back, automated lead follow-up, or Google Business Profile optimization. D.O.G. does not assume every business needs every system.

  4. 04

Build and Implement the Approved System

Once you decide to move forward, D.O.G. builds and configures the agreed system and connects the pieces required for that approved scope. Depending on the service, implementation may involve website work, forms, CRM or automation configuration, communications, business information, or approved integrations. Requesting an audit is not the same as accepting a service agreement.

  5. 05

    Test, Launch, and Improve

Systems are tested before they are treated as complete. Depending on the service, relevant checks may include forms, calls, messages, workflows, notifications, website and mobile behavior, tracking, and the overall customer journey. After launch, ongoing services may continue to be monitored, maintained, or improved according to the service you actually selected.

Why It Starts Here

The System Comes After the Business Problem.

D.O.G. Marketing Systems is not built around forcing every business into the same package. The goal is to understand the business first, then determine which system, if any, addresses the problem.

  • How customers currently find the business
  • What happens when they call or submit an inquiry
  • How leads are followed up with
  • How reputation is built
  • Where opportunities are being lost

Only then does the conversation turn to which system, if any, makes sense — rather than starting with a product and working backward.

The Customer Journey

Different Gaps Need Different Systems.

This is conceptual guidance, not a mandatory package. The right combination depends on what the audit actually surfaces for your business.

See how these systems fit together on the Growth Systems page.

Common Questions

Answers Before You Reach Out.

A few questions prospects often have before requesting a Free Business Audit.

What happens after I request a Free Business Audit?
You tell D.O.G. about your business and where you think things could be working better. Tim Drake reviews your information and personally follows up to talk through what may make sense next. Requesting an audit is a conversation, not an obligation to buy anything.
Do I need every D.O.G. system?
No. D.O.G. does not assume every business needs every system. Recommendations are based on the gaps the audit actually surfaces for your business — which may point to one system, a combination, or none at all.
Can D.O.G. work with systems my business already uses?
D.O.G. can review your current setup and determine what can appropriately be retained, connected, replaced, or improved based on the project. D.O.G. does not promise compatibility with every platform.
Do you guarantee specific results?
No. D.O.G. does not guarantee specific rankings, leads, reviews, revenue, appointments, or business outcomes. Results depend on many factors outside D.O.G.'s control, including your business, market conditions, implementation, and the accuracy and timeliness of the information and cooperation you provide.
Where does D.O.G. work with businesses?
D.O.G. works with businesses in the Kansas City metro and surrounding communities within approximately a 60-mile radius across Missouri and Kansas. D.O.G. is a service-area business, not a network of separate offices.
